Philippe has headed the Marketing function at Nisa since late 2017, with responsibility for Traditional and Digital communication channels, Own Label Marketing, Seasonal Planning, Insights and the successful Nisa Media Partnerships hub. His career with Nisa started at a time when a Co-op take-over was still only a possibility and by no means a certainty. Philippe describes his time with the Lincolnshire-based wholesaler as an intense and exciting course in change management.
Philippe’s career in convenience retailing started in Scotland, with CJ Lang and Son Ltd, the SPAR Wholesaler, where he held several marketing, sales and business development posts before joining SPAR UK, in 2013, as Head of Marketing. He also spent some time managing a store proposition project with AF Blakemore before joining Nisa.
Philippe shares his time between “sunny Scunny” during the week and Harrow at weekends. He also enjoys his trips to Dundee, to visit Claudia, his daughter.
